Hey everyone! here is a little more info on the MAC To the Beach Collection.
i didn't purchase everything from the collection, but here is what i personally picked up!

--> MAC: To the Beach Collection

--> i LOVE the packaging of this collection, it reflects the summer PERFECTLY!
--> MAC Eye Kohl: Float on By (Limited Edition) $14.50
- i REALLY love the color of this liner.. i think its a great color to add to a NEUTRAL eye.. in the summer you can get away with a lot of different eyeshadow colors, but this liner is a MUST. i really recommend this. It is super creamy and glides on really smooth! LOVE IT!
--> MAC Lipstick: Lazy Day (Lustre) (Limited Edition) $14.00
- i think this color is super pretty. i DONT think its too unique, if you are on a budget pass on this color.. i just wanted another pink lipstick.. its GREAT for a slight pop of color because it is sort of a neutral if you have a medium skin tone. i personally got it because i like the packaging too :p
--> MAC: Lipglass: Splashing (Limited Edition) $14.00
- i feel the same way about this lipglass as i do the "Lazy Day" Lipstick. I think its a really pretty color, however, if you have a TON of pink lip stuff.. PASS ON THIS. it's gorgeous but i just got it for the packaging also... im NOT a huge fan of MAC lipglass.. but once and awhile when a nice colleciton comes out, i will purchase :)
--> MAC: Powder Blush: Hipness (Limited Edition) $18.50
- This pinky color is very nice for light to medium skin-tones.. you can build up the color to as intense as you want or you can wear it super sheer. takes a few layers or a heavy hand to get the brightness of it :) i would recommend this. VERY nice for the summer time
--> MAC Eyeshadow: Sun & Sand (Matte) (Limited Edition) $14.50
-OMG.. this color was so hard to swatch! the pigmentation is NOT great :( i had to use a Q-tip t swatch and i dug it into the color... i dont really like the way to swatches or goes on but i'll just use it with a cream color base =/ i DONT really recommend this :( but AGAIN i love the packaging :p
--> MAC Highlight Powder: Marine Life (Limited Edition) $26.00
- I absolutely LOVE this product.. the presentation is amazing.. they did a great job with this. AS YOU ALL KNOW, the gold layer on top of the powder WILL go away after a bit, however the under color is STILL beautiful. This is awesome for summer. IT IS SOLD OUT in a lot of places =/ hurry to you MAC store or counter!! but this is my FAVORITE out of the entire collection.

ReplyDeleteif i could only buy one item i would get the marinelife highlighter (if you want a collectors item) but if you wanted an everday item i would but the hipness blush :)
